 Things you need for the game: Things you need for the game:
-1 green d8 Health dice. +  * THE BOOK
-1 yellow d10 Money dice. +  * 1 green d10 Health dice.
-1 blue d8 Burst dice (reroll). +  1 yellow d12 Money dice.

 +I will need to reduce the number of dice used. 9 dice is quite a lot, and it complicates how to keep track of abilities and rewards you may acquire or purchase on your adventure - i need some other means of tracking; but I really wanted to avoid the need to have anything but the book and a few dice. I need to think about this.

 3d6 health dice + 1d6 ward dice - was a great system, with 5 attack dice. 3d6 health dice + 1d6 ward dice - was a great system, with 5 attack dice.

 +==== Further contemplation ====
 +
 +While ideally the game would only rely on a handful of d6. I think perhaps even excluding the concept of a Town might benefit the game as a game. No complicated rest stop could just have a 'camp',
 +
 +==== Further ideas =====
 +
 +Let's go back to the original idea of 3 ribbons, and 5x d6 dice (standard yatzy to make the game extra accessible). this would limit the ability to add extra die by only two. which will have to be tweaked mechanically. there is also the page based die rolls, removing any need for anything beside the book itself.
 +
 +
 +==== more more more ====
 +
 +i think perhaps there should be maybe just 4 or 5 classes, and the classes are shown on every page so the player knows what their ability is / remembers it.
 +
 +pages also show all possible discoverable items for that specific phase, so you know which one you got.
 +
 +one mechanic i was thinking of was that perhaps if you play with dice the mechanic could be that you tie a die to an item and cannot reroll until you spend the item. but with a book-only that won't really work. maybe there is an interesting alternative to it.
