This is an old revision of the document!
This game is about picking wildflowers and making the prettiest sheaf.
Distribute 7 cards to each player. The rest of the cards go into the draw pile.
The first player must draw a card from the draw pile, then choose one card to discard into the discard area.
From then on, every player swaps a card from the discard area and their hand, or draw a card from the draw pile and place a new card into the discard area.
Once there are 10 cards in the discard area, the game ends.
Tally the points from each unique flower on hand as well as the combinations of flowers collected as seen fulfilled by the cards specifics.
Contained in the game, there are 66 cards representing 12 flowers,
| Flower | Copies | Nested milestones | Combo points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rose | 9 | [ Rose + Rose ] | 2 |
| Poppy | 8 | [ [Poppy + Poppy] + [Poppy + Poppy] > both pairs | 2 + 2 + 4 = 8 |
| Ox-eye Daisy | 7 | [Daisy + Rose] | 2 |
| Ivy | 7 | [Ivy + Rose + Rose] | 3 |
| Primrose | 6 | [Primrose] + Poppy | 1 + 2 = 3 |
| Violet | 6 | [Violet + Primrose + Poppy] | 3 |
| Cornflower | 5 | [Cornflower + Violet] + [Poppy] > whole structure | 2 + 1 + 3 = 6 |
| Foxglove | 5 | [Foxglove + Ivy] and [Ivy + Daisy] > all three | 2 + 2 + 3 = 7 |
| Cowslip | 4 | [Cowslip + Cowslip] + [Primrose] > whole structure | 2 + 1 + 3 = 6 |
| Columbine | 4 | [Columbine + Daisy + Foxglove + Rose] | 4 |
| Corncockle | 3 | [Corncockle + Cornflower + Poppy + Daisy] | 4 |
| Hawthorn | 2 | [Hawthorn + Foxglove + Ivy + Rose + Rose] | 5 |
Example of a decent hand to score.
Poppy + Poppy + Poppy + Poppy + Violet + Primrose + Cornflower
this would be equal to 8 + 3 + 3 + 6 as well as 4 from unique flowers, which ends at 24 points all in all.
– edit –
Of course, there are other combos available, the highest possible combo would be Rose + Rose + Daisy + Ivy + Foxglove + Columbine + Hawthorn that would give 29 points, but foxglove is a highly congested commodity and there are very few hawthorns in the game, so the likelihood of achieving it every game is probably not likely. if hawthorn becomes too dominant in every game then it has to be changed.
On the flip side, the lowest score is 2 points (e.g. 4x ivy + 3x violet). but the odds of ending the game there is practically impossible by mistake.
