This is a small box game for 2 to 4 players that comes with:
- 5x d6 dice
- 100 chits
- 20 cubes
- 10 player boards
The way of the game,
On your turn, you have to fight the monsters sent your way. you decide in which order you will fight the monsters. sometimes it is better to fight the easier ones so you can get gold for it to buy upgrade to have an easier time with the more difficult ones. monsters you fail to kill causes you damage.
Once you are done fighting the monsters, you spend whatever unspent gold and either buy monsters to attack with or upgrades. you get one monster for free every turn.
The game continues like this until all monsters have been drawn from the monster market. The player who has suffered the least amount of damage wins.
—
The chits (which has the monsters on them) has several stats.
- How much they cost to buy
- How much they earn when slain
- How much damage they do to you
- Their special qualities (e.g. if you roll a double it is slain)
- Their roll range (7 or less it slips through, 8 to 9 the monster despawns, 10 to 18 you succeed).
—
The player boards have several tracker and resources you keep track of using the cubes. Of course, damage taken is a dominant one but not one using cubes (save the chit as damage and tally the total at the end of the game).
Upgrades involve things such as:
- - Extra die during roll (keep 3)
- - Reroll a die
- - Turn die +1 or -1
- - Shield damage
- - Grant extra gold
- - Change one die to match another die
- - Choose which number one die should have
Permanent Passives:
- - Add +1 to the next target if you roll a 6.
- - Gain a gold when a monster despawns.
- - Gain extra gold every 3 kills.
- - Monsters cost -1 less gold.
- - Gain gold when you take damage.

a tinsy bit of italic here. but, i was thinking that in case dice rolling takes too long (i mean not really, you roll based on attacking units and then make the small adjustments based on upgrades) - but, in case. then, it could be a board of 4 territories. you buy towers to place in your territory at designated posts (which intersects but never fully), then you place dice on the tower depending on what tower it is and how many die it allows, and then you flip the units attacking you to see if your towers defeats them by the die rolls you have chosen within each tower. basically everyone roll their die, place them at their towers, then take turn removing enemies, flip one, remove a die that hits, next player flip one, remove a die that hits, next, and so on. until all die are spent, then everyone do the purchase stage where there are upgrades and monsters to buy, keep the monsters secret, and then distribute them between the opposing players. you get gold by giving a player a monster.
